Section 1: Document Validity & Usage
Are these documents legally binding?
All templates provided by the U.S. Document Center are drafted to comply with general U.S. federal and state standards. However, a document becomes legally binding only when it is properly executed by the user. “Execution” typically requires signing, dating, and, depending on the document type, notarization or witnessing in accordance with your specific state laws.
Do I need a lawyer to use these forms?
No. Our self-service platform is designed for individuals to generate their own standard legal documents. However, U.S. Document Center is not a law firm and cannot provide legal advice. If your situation involves complex litigation, high-value asset disputes, or non-standard terms, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
Can I edit my document after purchase?
Yes. Your document is delivered as a writable PDF or standard text file. You may make minor alterations locally on your device. For significant changes, registered customers can request a data correction via the “Request a Correction” form in their account portal.
Section 2: Account & Security
How do I access my purchased documents?
All purchased documents are automatically stored in your secure account. Log in to the Member Portal and navigate to the “My Documents“. Documents are available for download immediately after payment is confirmed.
Is my personal data secure?
Yes. We utilize 256-bit SSL encryption for all data transmission. We adhere to a strict minimal-retention policy: we do not store your credit card information on our servers, and personal data is retained only as necessary to generate your specific document and maintain your account history.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Visit the Login page and click “Lost your password?” Enter the email address associated with your purchase. A secure reset link will be sent to your inbox immediately.
Section 3: Billing & Payments
What will appear on my credit card statement?
Charges will appear as “US DOCUMENT CENTER” or “US DOC CENTER”.
What is your refund policy?
As our products are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are generally considered final. However, if a technical error prevented the generation of your document, or if you were charged in error, please contact Support within 24 hours. Valid claims are processed within 7–10 business days. more info
Do you offer a subscription?
No. All services are one-time fees. You will never be automatically billed for a recurring subscription or membership fee.
